Measurement & Assessment

Through careful research, we know that there are identified skills that are different and relevant for each role in the organization. We use a battery of surveys that have been used effectively for many years to measure mastery of those skills. Our surveys have what we call high psychometric properties - in plain language, it means that they measure the behavior they're supposed to measure and they do it time and time again.

We provide feedback to participants about their competencies and skills from their superiors, peers, and direct reports, as well as team mates and customers. In recent years, this multiple-rater feedback approach has been known as 360-degree feedback -- though we prefer the term multi-level.

Multi-level feedback can be the most comprehensive, accurate and engaging assessment of individual performance. Feedback helps people and organizations focus their attention on the behaviors that will be of greatest benefit to their careers and to the organization.

Our surveys measure observable behaviors that are related to specific roles in the organization and are oriented toward producing substantive change.

Innovation – Using the Kirton Adaption-Innovation Inventory, we can help you determine the appropriate style of innovative problem-solver to use on a particular business problem.  This will result in more front-end ideas and more effective back-end solutions.

Enterprise Capability - Our proprietary survey allows you to look at both external and internal factors that help determine what part of the value system needs attention and which capabilities need to be enhanced or built.

Culture - Our culture survey is based on Daniel Denison's work at the University of Michigan. It is a model that has been validated against a variety of organizational performance variables. It looks at culture, i.e., prevailing beliefs and attitudes that translate into policies and practices that affect behavior and, ultimately, the bottom line. A simple, yet comprehensive analysis of an organization that evaluates the underlying cultural traits and management practices that influence business performance.
